Batzer Celebrates Completion NAPA Auto Parts Superstore

MEDFORD, Oregon-This month, Napa Auto Parts owners Randy and Debbie Nunes, along with representatives from the Design/Build contractor Batzer Inc., will celebrate the completion of the new 13,000 square foot Napa Auto Parts Superstore. The new facility will carry more than $1 million in auto parts inventory and be open for both wholesale and retail business.

According to Randy Nunes, the store will replace the existing Napa Auto Parts site about one mile south of the new location. The expansion provides an additional four jobs at Napa, bringing the number of positions filled to 19. Within six months of opening, Nunes expects to add 3 more people to the staff.

Napa Auto Parts has been around since 1928 and is one of the oldest parts distributors in the country. The Nunes' opened their first Napa Auto Parts store in Klamath Falls in 1989. They expanded to Medford in 1998 and currently own and operate a third store in Central Point. They chose to work with Batzer because of their reputation for quality work and because the Design/Build process appealed to them. "They have a history of working well with owners," Nunes said.

Batzer Inc. was founded in 1955. Currently the company employs more than 170 people involved in construction and renovation over the states of Oregon and Washington.

"This project has been a great example of team effort," said Batzer Vice President David Dessert."
